Eminem - E
This DVD's a must own for Eminem fans. All the... videos are here; The Real Slim Shady,Stan,The Way I Am,My Name Is,Role Model, Guilty Consience & Just Don't Give a.... I like 'Guilty Consience' the best.Even though it's the clean version of the song, the video with Em and Dre is excellent. The DVD itself has nicely designed menus and the bonus footage includes the Blair Witch spoof 'The Mathers Home' and the making of the Stan video. It's a bit brief at about eight minutes but it's still a worthwhile look behind the scenes and it also features interviews with Em,Dr.Dre,Dido & Devon Sawa(Stan). It would be cool if Eminem's TRL MTV special was included on the bonus features and too bad the DVD didn't come out later, then it could've included D12's superb 'Purple Hills' video.Still,Eminem fans can't go far wrong with this DVD.The Up In Smoke Tour DVD is also worth checking out.

8 Mile (Widescreen)
Rap star Eminem makes a strong movie debut in 8 Mile, an urban drama that makes a fairly standard plot fly through its gritty attention to detail. Jimmy Smith (Eminem), nicknamed B Rabbit, can't pull himself together to take the next step with his career--or with his life. Angry about his alcoholic mother (Kim Basinger) and worried about his little sister, Rabbit lets out his feelings with twisting, clever raps admired by his friends, who keep pushing him to enter a weekly rap face-off. But Rabbit resists--until he meets a girl (Brittany Murphy) who might offer him support and a little hope that his life could get better. Under the smart and ambitious direction of Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential, Wonder Boys) and ably supported by the excellent cast and the burnt-out environment of Detroit slums, Eminem reveals a surprising vulnerability that makes 8 Mile vivid and compelling.

Eminem - All Access Europe
This is the first musician DVD that uses a different formula in its presentation. I am used to the same old stage performance and no/or minimal backstage footage. This is the first DVD on a band/musician that I can honestly say I felt apart of the tour. It never slows down, from country to country we see a brief look of its enviroment and people, then we get to meet and hang with Eminem and his posse D12. The DVD's style is MTV driven. With Video footage of his interviews, and What seems like film covering the stage performances and crowds enthusiam for him.( which looks like MTV went along for the ride.) Seeing the footage from plenty of MTV news and interviews. I must say I think this DVD was necessary for the critics and press to really see who and what Marshall is all about. He is a well spoken individual in each and every interview, something we know nothing about? I for one have never seen an artist look as big as he does in this DVD/documentary. There are scenes where it looks as if he is performing in soccer arena's, some 80,000 fans plus. And to make it all worth having, fan or not...The segment with Eminem and DIDO are priceless. Hearing Dido and Eminem talk about each other and how they met, and then moving directly into the live peice was brilliant. I recommend this highly. As a fan or not you are seeing a new look in behind the scenes and on a tour. The producers of this have set a new bar for what fans really want to see.
